Senior Business Analyst (Process)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analystfor a leading IT consulting client in Sydney. Our client is a dynamic and growing consulting firm with a focus on delivering innovative digital solutions to leading banks, ASX-listed companies, and government agencies.

Thisis a dual role that combines client delivery and internal practice developmentresponsibilities.

Some of the key responsibilities are to:

• Liaisewith business stakeholders in analysing and documenting BusinessProcesses, both current and preferred
  
• Analyse complex problems and processes to accurately understand clients' businessneeds for new business solutions and enhancements
  
• Assistwith Business Case development to justify allocation of resources for theimplementation of an application
  
• Consultingwith business, technology, and project stakeholders regarding businessanalysis and project success factors
  
• Assistinformal evaluation of software systems that may be implemented
  
• Demonstratingcore business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, processdesign, data analysis, and implementation support.
  
• Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders to outline,design and implement new conversations, intents, and knowledge bases.
  
• Carryingout system testing and identifying critical defects.
  
• Managingcommunication, change and adoption across all relevant stakeholders
  
• Activelycontribute and be part of an Agile environment and participate in daily SCRUMor Stand-ups, Sprint planning, and Retrospective ceremonies.
  

This is a leadership role which would involve supporting with practicedevelopment, including training and development of junior teams, providingleadership and oversight, and supporting business activities.

• Atleast 7 years of proven experience in the successful management anddelivery of technology or ICT related projects,
  
• Knowledgeand experience in Business Analysis and Project Management methodologies.
  
• Provencapability and experience in working with organisations to assist thedevelopment of business concepts through to final delivery
  
• Provenexperience working within small to large projects with a goodunderstanding of project management methodologies
  
• Stronginterpersonal skills, including both oral and written communication, andstrong stakeholder engagement skills with a demonstrated ability toquickly build trust and effectively manage expectations.
  
• Demonstratedability to work with a high degree of independence and professionalism,including prioritising and undertaking a varied workload and respondingpositively and flexibly to change.
  
• Mustbe based in Australia already and have full working rights.
