This employer is seeking a driven Cloud System Administrator to join a team that provides essential enterprise infrastructure for critical national defense missions. The role supports a global workforce by maintaining the backbone platform for enterprise users, focusing on innovation and robust system capabilities.

The Role

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure in a hybrid environment, encompassing on-premises and AWS cloud.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022) systems.
• Configure and manage fundamental services such as Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Leverage automation and scripting tools (Salt, BASH, Python, Ansible) to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain system security posture by addressing IAVAs and adhering to security standards.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex technical challenges and collaborate on system solution design.

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 14 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• An IAT II certification (e.g., Security+), or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Experience with AWS and other cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks.
