Ruby Java Backend Developer

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby or another object-oriented programming language
• 2+ years of experience with GitHub Actions
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Operations
• Experience with AWS Administration
• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot for software development

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience with a bachelor s degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
• 5+ years of application development experience
• 3+ years of full stack application development experience

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

We are looking for a skilled engineer who would ideally have some additional familiarity with Dev Ops technologies and even experience with AWS EKS and Argo CD.

We are interested in finding a candidate that can coach and teach other junior engineers on the team.

We would like this candidate to have strong leadership and communication skills as well.
