Junior Quality Assurance Analyst-Manual & Automation Testing

Job Title: QA Analyst Manual & Automation Testing

We are seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support a large-scale application modernization project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing, UAT, test automation, API testing, and Agile/Scrum environments. This role will work closely with business users and technical teams to create and execute test cases and improve overall test coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for modernized applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain manual test cases.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts to improve test coverage and reduce repetitive testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Work with business users and various business areas to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Perform API testing using Postman.
• Perform database validation using SQL Server/SQL.
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum project team.
• Support testing of modernized applications, APIs, portals, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, or other automation tools.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in manual software testing and UAT.
• Experience with test automation and automated test script development.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for Jira.
• Experience with SQL Server/SQL for data validation.
• Experience with Postman/API testing.
• Experience with Selenium, Tricentis Tosca, or other test automation tools.
• Experience with ADA/Section 508 accessibility testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted or AI-powered software testing.
• Strong experience creating, executing, and documenting test cases and defects.
• Experience testing modernized enterprise applications.
• Experience with web portals and ServiceNow applications.
• Experience with WCAG accessibility testing/compliance.
• Experience working with business users during UAT.
• Experience in government or large enterprise environments is a plus.
