Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, web and API testing, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, developing automated regression tests, identifying defects, and ensuring application quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The candidate will collaborate with development, business, and Data Analytics teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated tests based on business and technical requirements.

• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated regression test suites.

• Perform web application testing, API testing, and database testing using SQL.

• Develop testing tools and reusable resources to improve testing efficiency.

• Collaborate with Data Analytics teams to validate data movement and data integrity against defined requirements.

• Participate in SDLC activities, Agile ceremonies, estimation sessions, and design discussions.

• Work with business stakeholders and end users to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Provide application troubleshooting and production support when required.

• Identify platform limitations and opportunities to improve application quality and performance.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, white-box, and black-box testing.

• Track test execution, defects, and QA activities using JIRA.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and QA Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Web Testing, API Testing, SQL, and JIRA.

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and software testing processes.

• Experience writing clear and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks and regression testing.

• Knowledge of white-box and black-box testing techniques.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing and/or security testing.

• Experience validating data movement, data integration, and database results.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and continuous testing practices.
