DB2 z/OS Database Developer (Mainframe)

We are looking for a developer to provide help with database conversion from mainframe legacy system (mainframe (DB2 z/OS, COBOL, SQL, CICS) to Oracle.

Legacy SAMII system contains over 700 screens, over 1000 COBOL programs, and approximately 473 tables.

Qualifications:

1.      7+ years of experience with the following skills:

                        1.      JCL

                        2.      DB2 z/OS with performance knowledge

                        3.      SQL

                        4.      COBOL

2.      5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Testing

3.      Experience dealing with complex and ambiguous scenarios

4.      Communication with business partners

5.      Ability to identify and discuss data nuances

6.      Following skills are strongly preferred:

                          i.      Accounting knowledge

                         ii.      Payroll knowledge

                       iii.      Experience supporting Missouri SAMII

Responsibilities:

• Tasks include converting DB2 data from z/OS to Oracle.
