Job Description

About the Role

The Accounting Clerk supports the day-to-day financial operations of Pacific Electric and Mitsi . This individual keeps the books accurate and current: recording sales, ticketing deposits, payroll and expenses, reconciling bank activity, and producing the show-level reporting that venue leadership relies on.

Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with the pace of live events, where nightly shows and private events mean a steady flow of transactions. They will work closely with venue managers, the events team, and tvg's central finance team, and are confident in following up to get the receipts, memos, and figures the books need.

Responsibilities

  • Record daily sales entries from Toast into Sage.
  • Prepare daily P&L reports for each show and upload supporting backup to the shared Google Drive and Box folders.
  • Update the daily cash flow with all bank activity.
  • Record weekly Ticketmaster deposit entries.
  • Code credit card expenses weekly, following up with cardholders on missing receipts or memos.
  • Upload invoices to Ramp and check them for accuracy.
  • Enter internal and external settlements in Ramp.
  • Enter invoices for private events as contracts are signed.
  • Ensure managers complete the Revenue Summary sales and labor figures, filling them in where needed.
  • Prepare payroll journal and accrual entries.
  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Record month-end inventory and COGS adjustments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; hospitality or venue experience preferred.
  • Solid working knowledge of journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations.
  • Experience with Sage, Ramp, and Toast (or comparable accounting, spend management, and POS systems); familiarity with Ticketmaster deposits and show settlements is a strong plus.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills and comfort working in shared drives.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, with the discipline to keep daily and weekly entries current.
  • Confident, friendly communicator who can follow up with managers to get what the books need.
