TrinIT Talent are looking for an experienced SC Cleared Programme Test Manager to come on board for an initial 6 month contract based in London, working on a 50% onsite model. This role falls Inside IR35 and is paying £600 per day.

Job Description:-

We are looking for an experienced Programme Test Manager to take end-to-end ownership of testing across a large and complex programme of work. You will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall test strategy across functional and non-functional testing, ensuring testing is effectively integrated throughout the SDLC.

You will provide leadership across multiple testing workstreams, managing internal teams and third-party suppliers while working closely with senior stakeholders and business teams to ensure testing is delivered to the required quality, governance and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Define and own programme-level Test Strategies, Test Charters and Test Plans.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of functional and non-functional testing across complex programmes.

• Ensure testing is fully integrated throughout the SDLC and aligned with business objectives.

• Lead resource planning across multiple testing workstreams, forecasting future requirements and managing demand.

• Manage senior stakeholder and business engagement, particularly around UAT and testing responsibilities.

• Act as the senior escalation and resolution point for testing issues across the programme.

• Manage defect processes, including triage, resolution and adherence to exit criteria.

• Ensure appropriate test automation and regression testing is implemented across the programme.

• Manage the quality of testing and test evidence delivered by third-party suppliers.

• Produce consistent test metrics, progress reporting and quality reporting for senior stakeholders.

• Represent testing at steering groups, programme governance meetings and senior stakeholder forums.

• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, governance and standards.

Key Skills:-

• MUST HOLD CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE.

• Extensive experience of software testing across the complete project life cycle within structured environments, covering both Agile/iterative and Waterfall delivery.

• Extensive experience across functional, non-functional, regression, integration, UAT and OAT testing.

• Extensive experience creating and owning Test Strategies and Test Plans.

• Strong experience of test planning and re-planning in response to changing programme circumstances.

• Extensive experience leading software testing across internal teams and third-party suppliers.

• Extensive experience of defect management processes and test management tools.

• Strong experience of risk analysis and Risk Based Testing techniques.

• Experience of exploratory testing and associated techniques.

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Eggplant, SOATEST, Karate, QTP, Rational Functional Tester, Selenium, Silk Test or Microsoft testing tools.

• Experience testing complex user interfaces and GUI applications.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Strong knowledge of test data provisioning and management.

• Knowledge of databases, including tables, constraints and SQL.

Desirable Skills:-

• Previous experience testing banking systems and applications.

• Knowledge of software architectures and technologies including XBRL, HTML, VB, .NET, XML, Java, Web Services, SOA, SOAP, Unix/Linux, SAP, Oracle, SQL and SharePoint.

• Experience testing web-based applications.
