Active Directory Engineer/Architect

Pay Range: $55 - $60 /hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, stand up, and decommission Active Directory infrastructure, including AD for cloud
• Manage domain join processes and ongoing domain administration
• Lead cleanup and remediation of existing AD and Domain Controllers, and build automation to sustain it
• Integrate AD with supporting tools and platforms (including IGA platforms)
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce operational overhead and increase engineering capacity
• Mentor and train junior engineers on AD best practices
• Own the environment end-to-end, working independently and providing regular, clear updates to stakeholders

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Active Directory, IAM/IGA (SailPoint/ SAVIYNT/CyberArk), PowerShell Automation
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Active Directory
• Demonstrated experience integrating AD with third-party tools and platforms
• Experience with IGA/identity platforms (e.g., SailPoint or similar)
• Strong architecture-level thinking with a hands-on, execution-first approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work self-sufficiently
• Experience with DevOps tooling, Github, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) experience
• Microsoft and/or AWS certifications (nice to have, not required)
