Hand Presser

Tom James is the world’s largest manufacturer and retailer of made-to-order clothing and the engine behind one of the most established tailored clothing brands.  As one of the few remaining vertically integrated clothing retailers-controlling the entire manufacturing process ‘from sheep to suit’ – we offer unparalleled value to those with an eye for quality.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive individual to join our team at our Brown & Church location in Pilot Mountain, NC. Brown & Church, a division of Tom James Company, is an American-made neckwear company that produces ties, bow ties, and pocket squares by hand in North Carolina. Established in 1976, the company has a history that includes the legacy of classic neckwear brands like Keys & Lockwood. They emphasize their artisan production, high-quality materials, and connection to American manufacturing heritage.

We are seeking a Hand Presser to operate a steam iron to smooth, shape, and remove wrinkles from garments or textiles, requiring attention to detail, knowledge of fabrics, and physical stamina to handle machines and materials, focusing on tasks like setting controls, inspecting for defects, and preparing finished items to move to the next operation.
