Are you looking for an opportunity to progress and develop a production engineering team with a market leading Engineering company ?

As a Production Manager you will be responsible for driving the performance of your team to achieve above and beyond their expected KPIs - paying particular focus on training and development, Health & Safety of operations, 5S and Lean Manufactruing processes.

You will assist the Directors to ensure the teams are run in the most cost effective and efficient manner, ensuring all health & safety is complied with and agreeing production schedules. The role will need your positive attitude when holding daily activity briefings, ensuring that planned KPI's are met.

You will implement cost effective measures, manage lean manufacturing, monitor stock, create bills of materials and ensure all raw materials are available for the production teams.

Ø Ensure deadlines are monitored throughout the department and actions taken to ensure they are met

Ø Create and execute production plans to deliver against customer requirements

Ø Ensure the health, safety and welfare for your teams through the completion or risk assessments, implementation of actions and monitoring of compliance

Ø To monitor production metrics such as efficiency, scrap, cost and lead-time.

Ø Contribute to the planned maintenance schedule ensuring that planned maintenance activities are optimised for efficiency.

Ø Monitor, plan and implement improvements and 5S

At Least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Production Manager level in manufacturing/production a fast-paced environment.
