Production Operative /Machine Operator - Barton Le Clay

Newstaff Employment Services is currently seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operative / Machine Operator to join our team in Barton Le Clay. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery and supporting the production line to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery effectively and safely.
• Assist in the setup and changeover of machines as required.
• Carry out quality control checks during the production process.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.

• Previous experience in a production operative or machine operator role is preferred.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated to contribute to the team.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

• Temp-to-perm opportunity with a pay increase after 3 months

• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
