The Role

• Assembly of steel structures in medium, high, and extra-high voltage (110kV to 380kV) switchgear, including air and gas-insulated systems.
• Installation of high and medium-voltage equipment and electrical systems, including mounting tension clamps, suspension, and support insulators.
• Performing assembly and disassembly of bolted and pressed connections, along with pipe and cable assembly, including cable pulling.
• Reviewing and marking up plan documentation.

What You'll Need

• Completed apprenticeship in a locksmithing trade, such as Metalworker, Industrial Mechanic, Construction Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in locksmithing, ideally from construction, mechanical engineering, energy technology, building services, or the metal processing industry.
• Preferably, experience working safely with electrical installations.
• Possess a valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel to job sites with your own vehicle.
• Readiness for regular assembly assignments from Monday to Thursday in Northern Germany, including overnight stays.
• Good German language skills and a self-motivated, independent work style.
