SAP Project Manager Inside IR35

Contract: 10 months (initial)
Location: Leeds, Hybrid - one day a week on site

Overview

A major utilities organisation is seeking a strong SAP Data and Analytics Project Manager to deliver Phase 2 of its SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) implementation. The project will establish the foundations for future SAP reporting, working across SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

This is a delivery leadership role, not a hands-on technical position. You ll bring excellent project and vendor management skills, alongside enough SAP data and analytics knowledge to coordinate teams, ask informed questions and challenge delivery when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Phase 2 delivery, managing plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors across SAP BDC, Datasphere and SAC.
  • Manage stakeholders, decisions and clear progress reporting.
  • Work with internal teams and external test partners to oversee testing and challenge outcomes where needed.
  • Lead release and cutover planning and execution.

Essential Experience

  • Strong project management experience delivering IT projects, ideally within SAP.
  • Proven vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of SAP data and analytics delivery, particularly Datasphere and SAC.
  • Experience managing testing, release and cutover activities.
  • Excellent communication skills; proactive, self-sufficient and calm under pressure.

Desirable

  • SAP Business Data Cloud experience.
  • Utilities-sector experience.
