The Role

• Operate heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard using hostlers.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-use equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is required for this position.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and climb ladders/stairs on railcars.
• Must pass pre-employment background, physical, and drug screening.
