Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the mechanical package on a major data centre project in Leeds.

Manage the mechanical package from pre-construction through to completion and commissioning.
Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and specialist contractors.
Oversee the installation of HVAC, cooling, pipework and associated mechanical systems.
Ensure works are delivered in line with project specifications, drawings and programme requirements.
Monitor progress, costs, procurement and resource allocation.
Manage testing, commissioning and handover activities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
Attend project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
Identify and resolve technical issues, delays and project risks.

Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
Strong background in data centres or other complex commercial/industrial developments.
Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems.
Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, programmes and commissioning activities.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Relevant mechanical or building services qualifications.
