Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Security Systems Solutions Engineer to lead the architecture, integration, and technical direction of an enterprise physical security technology ecosystem. This role combines hands-on systems administration, security platform integration, solution architecture, and project/program leadership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with enterprise access control, video management systems (VMS), visitor management platforms, and security analytics. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for Solutions Engineering projects, overseeing project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, technical execution, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, architect, integrate, and maintain enterprise physical security systems across multiple sites.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, develop proofs of concept (PoCs), and drive adoption of cloud-based camera analytics and AI-powered security tools.

• Establish technical standards, architectural best practices, and security and data protection requirements.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for access control, video surveillance, security analytics, and complex technical escalations.

• Manage project intake, discovery, scoping, prioritization, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Oversee project execution, ensuring delivery within scope, timelines, and strategic objectives.

• Maintain program roadmaps, track dependencies, balance workloads, and provide project status updates to leadership.

• Mentor Solutions Engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.

• Architect integrations between access control, video management, visitor management, legacy platforms, and enterprise systems.

• Develop ETL workflows and data integrations to transform security data into actionable business intelligence.

• Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations and reduce manual processes.

• Lead system upgrades, migrations, enhancements, proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

• Collaborate with Security Operations, IT, Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience programming, administering, and supporting enterprise physical security systems across multiple sites.

• 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution architecture, or a similar role.

• Hands-on experience deploying, integrating, and supporting enterprise access control, video management systems (VMS), and visitor management platforms.

• Proven experience managing multiple technical projects, including intake, discovery, scoping, prioritization, and resource allocation.

• Experience developing proofs of concept, evaluating technologies, and making technical architecture decisions.

• Strong troubleshooting, systems integration, automation, and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience mentoring engineers and coordinating technical delivery without direct management responsibility.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Genetec Synergis SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-001 certification.

• Experience in studio production, entertainment, or technology environments.

• Experience with cloud-based security analytics, AI-driven security solutions, and enterprise data integration.
