Job Summary

Accelyst is seeking a ServiceNow QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Automated Test Framework (ATF) and IRM/GRC testing to support enterprise ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test strategies to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of ServiceNow applications across multiple releases.

This position requires hands-on experience building automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF, validating Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) functionality, and collaborating with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and execute automated test suites using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Design reusable test cases, test templates, and automated regression suites.
• Create and maintain test data, validation scripts, and end-to-end testing scenarios.
• Perform functional testing for IRM and GRC modules, including controls, risks, issues, assessments, workflows, and compliance processes.
• Validate platform configurations including Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, Flows, Tables, Update Sets, and Client Scripts.
• Execute cross-browser and end-to-end testing across ServiceNow platform experiences including Workspace and Service Portal.
• Validate integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Analyze test execution results, identify defects, document findings, and collaborate with developers and business analysts for issue resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Support regression testing during platform upgrades, releases, and production deployments.
• Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing methodologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 2–8+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Strong experience designing and developing automated test cases within ServiceNow.
• Experience testing ServiceNow IRM/GRC applications.
• Strong understanding of Governance, Risk & Compliance processes, risk scoring, assessments, controls, SOX, and compliance workflows.
• 3+ years of experience validating ServiceNow Platform UI, Service Portal, and Workspace user experience.
• Experience with JavaScript scripting within the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong understanding of test planning, test case development, regression testing, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk Management (CIS-Risk).
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – GRC (CIS-GRC).
• ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) certification.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
• Experience with Roadrunner performance testing.
• Experience with Playwright automation framework.
