Job Description

Job Title:Industrial Engineer
Location:Detroit, MI

TYpe: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct time studies and establish labor standards for manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze and optimize production workflows, cycle times, and resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Support line balancing, capacity planning, and manpower planning activities.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production goals and launch activities.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2-4 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

Experience with time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and process optimization.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
