Recruiting Coordinator

MV Transportation is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to support high-volume hiring that keeps our transit operations running safely and reliably. In this role, you will coordinate job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication for frontline and corporate positions. You will assist with resume screening, background checks, and onboarding paperwork while maintaining accurate data in our ATS and HR systems. Working closely with hiring managers, you will help ensure a smooth, compliant, and candidate-friendly process that supports our culture of safety, respect, and community service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-volume interview scheduling for frontline and corporate roles
• Post and maintain job requisitions across multiple platforms and the ATSScreen resumes and conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screens
• Support background checks, drug testing, and employment verifications
• Prepare and track offer letters and onboarding documentation
• Maintain accurate candidate data and reports in HR and recruiting systems
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timelines
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with company, EEO, and safety policies
• Support career fairs and hiring events for operations and frontline staff
• Provide timely, professional communication to candidates and internal stakeholders
