Information Systems Security Engineer with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team supporting a Fort Meade, MD. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support organization, system, or enclave IA programs
• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Establish and maintain operational security posture.
• Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.
• Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.
• Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMF MInimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience with ISSE/ISSO
• Knowledge of current security tools
• Experience with Hardware/software security implementation
• Experience with Encryption techniques/tools Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with Splunk (search and reporting)
• Experience building Splunk dashboards
• Experience with AWS Docker services and Kubernetes Security Clearance Requirements:
• Active TS/SCI W/ Poly

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
