Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with strong expertise in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable cloud platforms. This role requires close collaboration with multiple teams across NIQ, including Tech Ops COE, to drive initiatives, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Experience with GCP is required, and Snowflake knowledge is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Define and implement branching, release, and production deployment strategies.
• Manage IAM, RBAC, and cloud security controls.
• Integrate and manage DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube and Cycode.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Tech Ops COE and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions efficiently.

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience managing Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with CI/CD orchestration platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Knowledge of Git branching strategies and release management.
• Experience with production deployment strategies (Blue-Green, Canary, Rolling deployments).
• Strong understanding of IAM, security, and access management.
• Experience with SonarQube, Cycode, and DevSecOps practices.
• Good knowledge of GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Azure and Kubernetes certifications are a plus.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple teams across NIQ.
• Self-driven with strong ownership and accountability.
• Ability to drive work to completion and remove blockers proactively.
