Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our global SOX programme. Based in our Global Accounting Centre in Glasgow, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and our US Accounting Centre of Excellence in Chicago. You’ll ensure our SOX framework is robust, compliant, and continuously improving. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic and innovative organisation.
How you'll make an impact
- Manage the global SOX programme, ensuring timely delivery of the annual cycle.
- Lead SOX scoping, risk assessments, and control design to improve financial reporting quality.
- Maintain high-quality SOX documentation and manage testing processes.
- Evaluate control deficiencies and drive timely remediation plans.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors on SOX matters.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on risks, control issues, and recommendations.
- Drive process improvements, focusing on quality, standardisation, and automation.
- Produce clear technical reports for senior management and auditors.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
About You
- You're a qualified accountant (ICAS/CIMA/ACCA/CA or equivalent.
- You’re skilled at managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- You’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrive in dynamic environments.
- You have strong people management and organisational skills.
- You’re eligible to work in the UK.
