Senior Data Engineer – Google Cloud Platform & Databricks

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Databricks to join our team in Irving, TX.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data engineering, designing and developing scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, and working with cloud-based data platforms.

The candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining data solutions using Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL. Experience with large-scale data processing, data warehousing, and cloud data integration is essent* Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform and Databricks.

  * Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.
  * Develop data transformation and processing solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  * Work with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  * Implement data lakehouse solutions using Databricks and Delta Lake.
  * Optimize Spark jobs and data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
  * Implement data quality checks, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
  * Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure data reliability and availability.
  * Follow data governance, security, and cloud data engineering best practices.
