Drama Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth

We are pleased to partner with a well-regarded secondary school in Lambeth, known for its commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching educational experience. They are seeking a dynamic and creative Drama Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and cultivate a passion for the performing arts in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role entails fostering a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages self-expression, collaboration, and the development of essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging Drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and the school's educational goals.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student participation and builds confidence.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
  • Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Arts department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.

  • Passionate about Drama and the performing arts, with a strong commitment to student success.
  • Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
