Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with NIE Networks as we support the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable energy future. Our purpose is to develop the electricity network so that people and businesses across Northern Ireland can increasingly use electricity instead of fossil fuels for energy, heat and transport. As a Network Planning Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing and updating technical policies and engineering recommendations to support the evolving electricity network. You'll undertake network studies, identify future reinforcement requirements and help ensure the network can accommodate growing demand while continuing to meet security and planning standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to influence the future of the energy system, work on innovative projects and contribute to Northern Ireland's net zero journey.
