Konfigurationsmanager | Munich, Germany | Hybrid

The Role

  • Organize and coordinate internal and external processes within configuration management as an integral part of project management.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of customer requirements into concrete task descriptions for internal departments and suppliers.
  • Provide coordinating project management within configuration management, involving development, design, production planning, manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and purchasing.
  • Prepare and conduct configuration management activities for design review meetings and ensure structured information exchange among all stakeholders.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute internal and external configuration audits to ensure quality and process requirements.
  • Actively participate in proposal preparation, specifically in developing precise service descriptions.
  • Document and report on internal and external configuration management activities.
  • Advise and support customers and suppliers on all configuration management matters, ensuring close coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering, or an equivalent technical education/technician qualification with relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience in actively managing and shaping configuration and obsolescence management processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong independent, structured, and meticulous working style, coupled with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Networking skills enabling interdisciplinary work.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
