This employer is seeking a Senior Cross Domain Systems Engineer to lead the development and deployment of advanced digital cross-domain solutions for national security missions. The role involves customer engagement, requirement definition, system design, integration, testing, and accreditation support.
The Role
- Lead the engineering team in developing and deploying digital cross-domain solutions.
- Engage with customers to capture, define, and understand user and security requirements.
- Decompose hardware, software, interface, and security control requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on system development, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Support system accreditation following the Risk Management Framework.
- Plan, design, and implement cross-domain data flows and data handling policies.
What You'll Need
- Experience developing requirements (capability, system-level, hardware, software, user stories, use cases).
- Experience developing technical written deliverables for system delivery or deployment.
- Proficiency with online collaboration and work tracking tools like Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and system accreditation.
- Ability to plan systems delivery and deployment efforts, including technical plans, schedules, resource allocation, and risk tracking.
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 5+ years of engineering experience, or 12+ years of engineering experience without a degree.
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of start date.
