UxS Software Release Manager with Security Clearance

Overview The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team at i3 supports DoD customers in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms. The team is seeking an experienced Software Release Manager with 10+ years of experience to support the team in organizing and executing software releases across a wide variety of interconnected projects, ensuring successful testing, validation, and deployment to the field. Responsibilities The candidate will work closely with Government Project Leadership and with Agile software development team s across several vendor organizations to organize and track software releases in support of testing and fielding schedules. Qualifications Education, Experience and Required skills: * Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences. * 10+ years of professional experience * Ex perience creating and managing software releases * Extensive experience with scheduling using MS Project * Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence,... ) * Strong customer facing background * Position Location: In office in Huntsville, AL * CONUS Travel required: Less than 2 0% * Active Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a Clearance * Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred Experience/Skills: * Self-Driven , highly organized personality * Eager for a challenge * Detail oriented with strong communication skills * Experiences with modern Software Development practices * Experience with Technical Writing * Experience with Git * Experience managing CI/CD pipelines is a plus Knowledge/Skills: * Knowledge of office administration and procedures. * Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully. * Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner. * Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results. * Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented. * Work well both independently and in a team environment. * Be energized by a fast-paced work environment. * Must be able to communicate with others effectively. * Analyze information and respond appropriately. * Manage time wisely and prioritize tasks. * Provide superior customer service . * Multi-task in a pleasant manner. * Work well under pressure.
