Job Description

  • 72 months of experience designing and architecting IBM Guardium solutions tailored to client-specific requirements, including Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), vulnerability assessment, and compliance reporting.
  • 84 months of experience with Red Hat Linux (RHEL) operating systems, including command-line administration, scripting, and system troubleshooting.
  • 84 months of experience installing, configuring, and deploying IBM Guardium components, including Collectors, Aggregators, CAS, and Universal Connectors, across various client environments.
  • 84 months of experience developing, implementing, and fine-tuning Guardium security policies to monitor and audit sensitive data access and database activities.
  • 60 months of experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services relevant to database deployments, including Compute Engine, VPC networking, firewalls, Persistent Disks, and IAM.
  • 60 months of experience with Bash, Python, or Perl scripting for automating database administration, deployments, monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
  • 60 months of experience troubleshooting complex Db2, RHEL, Guardium, and Google Cloud Platform issues, including:
    • RHEL kernel upgrades and Guardium K-TAP compatibility
    • Db2 local traffic interception
    • Shared Memory vs. Guardium Exit
    • Google Cloud Platform network latency and S-TAP buffer overflows
    • High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) in Google Cloud Platform
    • Google Cloud Platform Compute Engine resource contention
  • 84 months of experience integrating IBM Guardium with security tools and enterprise systems, including SIEM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and threat intelligence platforms.
  • 84 months of experience utilizing Guardium Vulnerability Assessment capabilities to identify, analyze, and report potential security risks across databases and data sources.
  • 84 months of experience configuring and generating compliance reports for regulations and standards including GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, and providing clients with insights into their compliance posture.
