Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Experience: 8+ Years

Job Location: Columbus, Indiana, US (Onsite)

Must Have

  • Strong mechanical design background.
  • Expert Creo user.
  • Able to independently develop concepts through detailed design.
  • Exposure to design of engine components
  • Extensive casting design experience.
  • Experience working with suppliers on casting manufacturability.
  • Senior enough to mentor junior engineers (8-10+ Yrs) 

Nice to Have

  • ANSYS / FEA or doing simple CAE analysis
  • Tubes, hoses and rubber component design.
  • Drafting experience. 

Role

  • Support Powertrain/Natural Gas subsystem programs.
  • Initially work onsite with the design team.
  • Help transition suitable work to offshore engineering teams over time.
