Application Support Analyst

A leading retailer is seeking an Application Support Analyst to join its Application Services team, supporting a range of business-critical retail, trading and corporate applications.

You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving application issues, supporting major incidents, monitoring integrations and systems, and working closely with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure services remain available, resilient and fit for purpose.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve application incidents and service requests.
• Support major incidents and coordinate service restoration.
• Monitor applications, integrations, APIs, reporting feeds and batch processes.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Support new systems and projects transitioning into BAU.
• Drive service improvements, automation and operational excellence.

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting enterprise applications in a complex environment.
• Retail systems experience, ideally POS and merchandising platforms.
• Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Experience with APIs, integrations and data flows.
• SQL skills and exposure to Scripting (PowerShell, SQL or similar).
• Experience with cloud-hosted/SaaS applications and third-party suppliers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
