Position Smary

FPL is seeking an experienced Salesforce Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and delivery of Salesforce-based solutions that support business operations and digital transformation initiatives. The Product Owner will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce capabilities are aligned with organizational goals and deliver measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Salesforce product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, leadership teams, architects, developers, and administrators to gather and refine requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for Agile delivery teams.
• Act as the primary decision-maker for Salesforce product functionality and backlog prioritization.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, user story reviews, and product demonstrations.
• Drive adoption of Salesforce solutions across multiple business functions including Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and Field Services.
• Partner with Salesforce Architects and Technical Leads to design scalable and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance standards are maintained across Salesforce platforms.
• Monitor KPIs and product performance metrics to evaluate solution effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and roadmaps to executive leadership.
• Support release planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including 5+ years working with Salesforce platforms.
• Experience serving as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or Salesforce Functional Lead.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive consensus across business and technology teams.
• Experience defining business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into Salesforce solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Administrator certification and/or Salesforce Product Owner related certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce Field Service, Experience Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
• Experience in the Utilities, Energy, or Power Generation industry.
• Knowledge of integrations using APIs, MuleSoft, middleware platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD processes, and Salesforce release management.
