Data Scientist with Security Clearance

QSSHire is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop and deliver production-ready AI/ML, data engineering, and analytical solutions within the Sponsor’s OpenLake environment. This role will focus on leveraging advanced AI/ML models, cloud technologies, and largescale data pipelines to address key intelligence questions.

You’ll work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Application Developers, and other technical stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions.

In This Role, You’ll: • Develop AI/ML solutions to address key intelligence questions. • Develop and deploy production-ready data pipelines and applications within OpenLake. • Leverage OpenLake and advanced AI/ML models to develop scalable deliverables. • Build resilient data pipelines using Trino, Iceberg, SQL, PostgreSQL, Spark, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, and Apache Hive. • Leverage AWS for automation, application deployment, and resource management. • Utilize GPUs for accelerated computing and AI/ML workloads. • Develop web applications using technologies such as React, Node.js, and JavaScript. • Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Application Developers, and Data Management Coordinators. • Develop scalable solutions rather than one-off deliverables. • Provide technical guidance and expertise in AI/ML, web application development, and ETL. • Develop and maintain system accreditation and security-related documentation. • Ensure technical development complies with Sponsor security policies and regulations. • Use Confluence and JIRA to define and track requirements. • Maintain application and infrastructure code in GitHub. • Support cloud infrastructure and system accreditation associated with OpenLake and production applications.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have: • Demonstrated experience working on OpenLake. • Experience developing and deploying production-ready data pipelines and web applications on OpenLake. • Experience developing AI/ML solutions that address key intelligence questions. • Experience with Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Kibana, JavaScript, Trino, Apache Hive, and Apache technologies. • Experience leveraging AWS for automation, application deployment, and resource management. • Experience leveraging GPUs for accelerated computing. • Experience working with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Application Developers. • Experience developing and maintaining system accreditation and security documentation. • Experience working with multiple stakeholders. • Experience developing scalable, production-ready solutions.

Desired Skills: • AWS certification(s). • Experience with Sponsor A&A processes. • Experience working with Sponsor data systems and data sources. • Knowledge of Sponsor Data Management principles and workflows. • Experience working closely with Sponsor technical teams. • Experience leveraging OpenLake and advanced AI/ML models. • Experience providing technical guidance to technical teams. • Subject matter expertise in AI/ML, web application development, and ETL.
