We pride ourselves in putting our people and customers at the heart of everything we do – and best of all, provide opportunities to develop skills and build careers through our award-winning Wolseley Talent Guild.  </p><p></p><p><b>Also, did we mention?</b> In addition to the £25,652 salary, there are also benefits on tap – including...</p><p>Annual leave (increasing with length of service), a generous pension scheme (matched up to 9%), potential to earn bonuses, enhanced maternity / adoption leave and access to a great range of online and high street discounts.   </p><p></p><p>We also promote positive health and wellbeing by offering free access to healthcare, our popular YuLife app, our Cycle to Work scheme and more! </p><p></p><p>As a <b>Sales Assistant </b>based in our<b> Plymouth </b>branch you’ll be responsible for:  </p><p></p><ul><li><p>Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations</p></li><li><p>Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude</p></li><li><p>Working within the warehouse maintaining excellent Health & Safety standards (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks and toilets)</p></li><li><p>Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location</p></li><li><p>Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency</p></li><li><p>Driving a 3.5T van making deliveries to our customers</p></li></ul><p></p><p>This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.</p><p></p><p><b>And here’s what we’d like you to have:</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>A full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential</p></li><li><p>Prior customer service and sales experience with the ability to engage with the customer to deliver outstanding service</p></li><li><p>To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch</p></li><li><p>Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic</p></li><li><p>Strong computer skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>We look forward to receiving your application!</b></p><p></p><p><span>#ACHS150</span></p>
