Job Description:

Position: IT Asset Specialist

Duration: 12-24 month project

Location: Fairlawn, OH (onsite 100%)

REQUIRED EXPIERENCE:
  • Experience working within a data center, semiconductor, manufacturing, electronics, or technology environment.
  • Oversee different projects and assign task to teams as needed
  • Strong with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook.
  • Experience using Inventory Software such as SAP, Excel IFS etc.
  • Attention to detail/accurate inventory counts.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with both internal customers and external vendors


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Receive equipment, verify item received and log in inventory
  • Maintain hardware lifecycle and IT asset inventory
  • Processes and ensures the accuracy of damage and defective returns
  • Track lifecycle, maintenance and decommissioning of IT assets
  • Ensure standards, guidelines and controls are maintained
  • Preform audits and inventory reviews
  • Track progress and follow-up of issues and assist with troubleshooting and resolution of technical problems.
  • Utilize computer terminal to verify shipments and/or receipts.
  • Enter material transactions to assure accuracy of materials databases.


DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently.
  • Responsible for implementation and compliance with team decisions
  • Identify potential roadblocks to team goals, propose solutions and resources needed, to the team, coach, or management.
  • Interact with various department directly or by phone or email to resolve issues and process returns.


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
