SEN / SEND Tutor | Axbridge, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN/SEND Tutors and Teachers to join a leading organization committed to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role

• Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils from KS1 to KS5.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Support children and young people referred by local authorities and schools.
• Engage in hybrid, in-person, and online tutoring sessions.

What You'll Need

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching core subjects: English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating safe learning environments.
• Right to work in the UK.
