Oracle EBS Consultant – Fixed Assets & Project Accounting

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 Techno-Functional Consultant or Oracle Financials Functional Consultant to support a large-scale ERP data migration project focused on Oracle Fixed Assets and Oracle Projects/Project Accounting.

The project involves migrating subledger data primarily from SAP to Oracle EBS R12 across multiple sites. The consultant will be responsible for preparing migration templates, executing data conversion processes, creating and loading project and fixed asset records, and performing post-migration validation and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Projects, data conversion, asset creation, and project accounting data loads. Candidates with strong Oracle migration and system-level experience are preferred over candidates with purely accounting-focused backgrounds.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.

• Practical experience with Oracle Fixed Assets and Oracle Projects/Project Accounting.

• Experience supporting data conversion, data migration, or subledger migration activities.

• Experience creating, loading, or maintaining fixed asset and project records in Oracle.

• Familiarity with Oracle WebADI, including fixed asset uploads and/or PA WebADI expenditure uploads.

• Experience validating converted data, reconciling records, and resolving migration-related discrepancies.

• Ability to work with large datasets, conversion templates, and cross-functional technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP-to-Oracle EBS migration projects.

• Experience with Oracle conversion scripts and data-loading utilities.

• Familiarity with SQL scripts for data validation or troubleshooting.

• Experience with asset additions, retirements, depreciation categories, and asset locations.

• Experience supporting multi-site ERP migration or implementation projects.

Important Notes

• Hands-on Oracle Fixed Assets and Oracle Projects/Project Accounting experience is essential.

• Strong data migration and conversion experience is highly valued.

• SQL scripting is a plus but is not a mandatory requirement.

• Project billing experience is an additional advantage but is not required.

• A specific degree is not mandatory; relevant hands-on Oracle experience is the priority.
