Job Description

Spezialist Supplier Quality | Munich, Germany | Hybrid This employer is a leading European systems house renowned for developing, manufacturing, and servicing a diverse portfolio of defense systems, from battle tanks to artillery. The Role • Responsible for planning and conducting supplier meetings and audits for quality assessment, selection, approval, and development of suppliers. • Independently negotiate and agree on overarching quality assurance agreements and complex QA specifications with suppliers. • Participate in the planning and implementation of all necessary measures for supplier selection, managing the supplier portal including assessment and approval. • Develop and continuously enhance strategic QA specifications. • Manage and consolidate product groups or projects from a supplier development perspective, including internal and external escalation management. • Prepare supplier risk classifications based on defined QM assessment criteria and conduct them in collaboration with Supplier Quality. • Coordinate internal and external corrective actions, track their implementation, and conduct supplier acceptance and initial sample inspections. • Define and monitor quality measures when relocating assemblies to other suppliers. • Train and instruct employees and suppliers on quality-related topics. What You'll Need • Completed technical degree or equivalent qualification with long-standing relevant professional experience. • Completed additional training as a QM Auditor is required; further relevant qualifications are advantageous. • Sound knowledge of manufacturing techniques and practical experience with QM management tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D method). • Good IT skills, particularly with common applications (MS-Office, SAP/R3, Babtec, CAQ). • Negotiating proficiency in English, high willingness to travel, and strong negotiation and assertiveness skills.
