We are looking for a practical, reliable and customer-focused Vending Machine Engineer to join our vending division based in Belfast. This field-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys fault-finding, working independently and making sure customers' equipment operates safely and reliably. Working Pattern: 37.5 Hours per week Standard hours between 07:30 - 15:30 Occasional additional or out-of-hours work where required Rewards: 28 days' paid holidays (pro rata) Employee Assistance Program to support your health & wellbeing Company Pension Scheme Financial Education/Financial wellbeing advisory service Training & Development Uniform Provided Company Events The Role Install, commission, service and repair vending machines, coffee machines and associated equipment at customer sites. Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electronic faults and complete effective repairs. Carry out planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and equipment downtime. Respond promptly to service calls and work in line with agreed service standards. Test equipment after repairs to ensure it is safe and fully operational. Complete accurate service reports and maintain records of work, parts used and follow-up actions. Manage tools and spare-parts stock within the company vehicle. Provide professional on-site support and build positive relationships with customers. Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies. What We're Looking For Experience in a field service, maintenance or repair role. Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills. A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to use tools and test equipment safely. Ability to understand technical information, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to organise your workload and work independently. Basic IT skills for completing digital job reports. A full UK driving licence. Desirable Experience Previous experience with vending, coffee, catering, refrigeration, white-goods or similar electro-mechanical equipment. Experience installing payment systems, including coin mechanisms and card readers. A relevant electrical, mechanical or engineering qualification.
