Vice President, Financial Systems Development & Integration

Ameritas seeks a Vice President Development and Integration to lead the design, development, and integration of financial systems that power our insurance and investment offerings. In this role, you will shape technical strategy, oversee solution architecture, APIs, and data integration, and ensure secure, scalable platforms aligned with regulatory requirements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional leaders, guide development teams, manage key vendor integrations, and drive continuous improvement in a people-centered, ethical, and growth-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead development and integration of financial systems and platforms
• Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance to define technical requirements
• Oversee solution architecture, APIs, and data integration across core systems
• Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory compliance in system designs
• Guide development teams with best practices, code quality, and testing standards
• Manage vendor and third-party technology integrations
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and standards
