Pay Range: $45 - $50/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- The main functions of a Financial Analyst are to gather and analyze financial information and conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions.
- The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
- Direct the preparation of financial reports, including:
- Income statements
- Balance sheets
- Analysis of future earnings or expenses
- Prepare special reports required by regulatory authorities
- Direct organizational budgets to meet financial goals
- Oversee investment of funds and manage associated risks
- Supervise cash management activities
- Execute capital-raising strategies to support expansion
- Oversee issuance of credit
- Establish credit-rating criteria
- Determine credit ceilings
- Monitor collections of past-due accounts
- Typical Day / Key Projects
- The selected candidate will handle:
- Month-end close
- Revenue
- Balance sheet
- Reconciliation
- Journal entries
- Excel reports
- Medicaid reporting to meet deliverables
- Help create quarterly reports
- This is a backfill position for FTE Pasha Miller.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills- Financial/Accounting Experience – 8–10 years of financial and/or accounting experience.
- Medicaid / Managed Care Experience – Must have hands-on experience in Medicaid or Managed Care.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel – Strong Excel skills; Excel testing is required.
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close – Experience with month-end close, revenue, balance sheet, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related financial discipline required
- Advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
- 8–10 years of financial and/or accounting experience required
- Must have experience in Medicaid/Managed Care
- Grants/Federal funding experience is a nice to have
- Accounting knowledge/experience is a nice to have
- Strong in Microsoft Excel
- Candidate must be willing to learn OneStream and PeopleSoft if not already familiar
- Excel testing is required
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
