Enterprise Architect

Job Purpose:

To propose Information System (IS) level architecture solutions, ensuring their consistency , adaptability and sustainability in alignment with the UK Enterprise Architecture strategy.

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the successful design of the Information System within BNPP PF UK and accountable for compliancy with the architecture governance framework and its processes.

Key Responsibilities:

To propose Information System (IS) level architecture solutions, ensuring their consistency , adaptability and sustainability in alignment with the UK Enterprise Architecture strategy.

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the successful design of the Information System within BNPP PF UK and accountable for compliancy with the architecture governance framework and its processes.

Provide support and assist the project team: help prepare architecture briefs, ensuring consistency with the BNPP framework (EAGLE)

• Deputise for Head of Enterprise Architecture where necessary
• Engage in Research and Design to evaluate and propose technologies to complement business strategy and IT roadmap
• Using third party engagement, external sources, engagement with peers, etc. continually update and expand knowledge and expertise to develop the architecture discipline within PF UK.

Criteria Essential

• TOGAF knowledge
• ITIL knowledge
• Requirements elicitation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Ability to operate across multiple engagements concurrently and assume architectural responsibility
• Attention to detail, with clear technical writing skills
• Ability to influence at CxO level.

Knowledge

• Display a level of maturity within IT disciplines, gained through breadth of experience and technology exposure.
• One or more architecture frameworks.
• Project lifecycle.

Previous experience

• Architectural leadership at Domain level.
• Experience of working with commercial off the shelf and bespoke solutions
• Experience in designing complex solutions

Experience Required

• Adhering to an architecture framework, TOGAF or other.
• Agile, DevOps, CI/CD
