Focus: SAP S/4HANA 2023, Legal Entity, Finance Architecture, Tax, Treasury, Costing & SOX

Role Summary

Senior SAP Finance Architecture leader responsible for designing and delivering the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution for establishing a new legal entity and/or new Fab/Plant. The architect will translate business, legal, tax, treasury, accounting, and manufacturing requirements into a scalable target-state SAP architecture and guide the implementation through go-live and stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance solution architecture and organizational design.
• Design and implement new Legal Entity and Company Code structures.
• Evaluate New Legal Entity vs. New Plant and advise senior leadership on the appropriate SAP/business model.
• Support new Fab/Plant deployment and integration with Finance and Manufacturing.
• Design solutions for:
  • Financial reporting
  • Tax compliance
  • Treasury operations
  • Product costing
  • Project Systems
  • Material Ledger
  • Intercompany processing
  • SOX controls/compliance
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Procurement, Manufacturing, Internal Audit, and IT.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into SAP architecture.
• Support implementation, testing, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Present architecture decisions and recommendations to executive/high-level stakeholders.
• Support external audits and ensure appropriate financial controls.

Must-Have Requirements

1. 12+ years of SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
2. 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA Architecture experience.
3. Experience with 3+ legal entity implementations.
4. Experience with 2+ Greenfield SAP S/4HANA deployments.
5. Experience supporting external audits.
6. Strong understanding of Finance architecture, organizational structures, and cross-functional business processes.
7. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with senior leadership/executives.
8. Strong collaboration skills across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, Manufacturing, and IT.
