The Role:

• Deliver engaging and innovative Design & Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Plan and implement a differentiated curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback to facilitate continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across the school to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity and problem-solving skills.
• Stay abreast of current developments in Design & Technology education and incorporate relevant technologies and practices into your teaching.

Candidate Profile:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successful teaching experience in Design & Technology at the secondary school level.
• Exhibit a passion for the subject matter and a commitment to fostering students' intellectual and practical skills.
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
