Job Description

Staff Accountant | Sweet Home, OR, United States | On-site

We're hiring on behalf of a world-class supplier of titanium castings and components for the aerospace industry, poised for substantial growth with multiple facilities. The Role

  • Perform procedures for recording business transaction activity within general ledgers and sub-ledgers.
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts, conduct process improvement activities, and maintain records.
  • Support audits and transact business within ERP systems with high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and prepaid/accrual accounting.
  • Reconcile sales and receivable account balances to supporting schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute customer invoices and statements, and communicate with customers on past-due accounts.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting with two years of experience, or five years of experience as a Staff Accountant.
  • Detail-oriented with solid knowledge of accounting processes and technology systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships across departments.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with payroll, inventory accounting, prepaids, accruals, and month-end close procedures.
