Special Education Needs Teacher | Chester, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Special Education Needs Teachers to join a leading impact-driven organization committed to transforming the lives of young people. The Role
- Provide in-person, remote, and hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
- Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
- Work collaboratively with schools and local authorities to help young people achieve their educational potential.
- Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for vulnerable learners.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing within a supportive community.
What You'll Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
- Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, with a preference for working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
- Familiarity teaching core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
- Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating a secure learning environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
- Right to work in the UK.
