Job Description

Job Description Create your best future and join Westpac as a Manager, Projects - Group Audit. What's the role?

Join a team that sits at the heart of some of Westpac's most significant transformation programs, including UNITE and Catalyst. As Manager, Transformation, you'll help assess the risks and opportunities across major projects and strategic initiatives, providing valuable insights that support successful delivery and better business outcomes.

This isn't a traditional audit role. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the Group to understand how large-scale change is being delivered, identify emerging risks, and provide forward looking insights that help shape better decisions.

You'll contribute to audits across strategic programs, collaborate with subject matter experts, and use data and emerging technologies to strengthen risk assessment and audit outcomes.

Location: Sydney

Work type: Permanent, Full Time with flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

What do I need?
  • Experience in audit, risk, project delivery or a related discipline with exposure to governance and controls.
  • Ability to assess risks, apply sound judgement and solve complex problems.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Experience supporting or reviewing projects, programs, transformation initiatives or change delivery activities, including exposure to Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies, Agile delivery practices and complex delivery environments.
  • A data driven mindset, with experience using data analytics or AI tools viewed favourably.
