We are seeking empathetic and reliable care professionals to assist our clients in their own homes. Your role will be important in enhancing their quality of life by providing personalized care and compassion.
You will need a full UK drivers licence with access to a reliable care and full rights to work in the UK.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Leigh, United Kingdom. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes.
- Provide personalised care and support to clients, tailoring your approach to their individual needs
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication management
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Accompany clients on outings and appointments, promoting social engagement and independence
- Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the care coordinator
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care provision
- Genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives
- Caring, patient, and empathetic nature with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping and medication management
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and care techniques
- Valid UK driving licence (preferred)
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required
The role is subject to satisfactory referencing and an enhanced DBS.
