Job Description

Electrical Maintenance Engineer FMCG Manufacturer

3 Shift Mon-Fri

Mon-Thurs 6-2pm 2-10pm 21:45-06:15am

Fridays 6-1pm 12:55-19.35pm 18:45-23:45pm

Salary: £58,282 + Pension + Overtime

Location: Middleton Greater Manchester

The Company

Based within one of the UKs leading FMCG manufacturing groups my client is looking to recruit an experienced maintenance engineer to add to their existing team. The facility in Middleton will benefit from further investment this year, to increase capacity. This manufacturing giant is part of a global group with over 100 years of manufacturing experience so therefore is an extremely secure group.

Key Skills

Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering

Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery

Understanding of PPM Systems

The ideal candidate will;

Be an experienced, time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Experience with boilers, effluent experience, pumps, valves

Be comfortable working in a regulated environment and the complying with the procedural processes this involves.

Be experienced in carrying out planned preventative maintenance activity, identifying corrective maintenance required and carrying out this activity.

Have an ability to work autonomously and prioritise your own work load will be essential.

Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts would be advantageous with 5S, Root cause analysis and continuous Improvement a part of our standard work tools.

Have a strong understanding, respect and drive to deliver the site key objectives which are based on; Health, Safety and Environment, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Morale and Engagement.

Be somebody who focusses on achievement and Continuous Improvement, Grows themself and others, Communicates well, Embraces change and is commercially and organisationally savvy
